Remembering Guareschi

Giovannino Guareschi was a journalist, writer, and humorist. Along with Giovanni Mosca and Giaci Mondaini he founded the humorous magazine “Candido”. He was the author of the “Don Camillo” series, based of stories of the two main characters of his books: Don Camillo, the priest, and Peppone, the communist Mayor, characters in constant but “affectionate” battle.
