Paolo Massimo Marino

Tutor

Bio

Originally from a small Calabrian village, Paolo earned a Bachelor's Degree in History of
Cinema and Humanities from the University of Perugia.
Following his studies, he gained hands-on experience on film sets alongside renowned
Italian directors.


He honed his English skills in the UK, working as an au pair and serving as an unpaid
college reader.
While completing his Master's Degree at the University of Bologna, he gained early
teaching experience assisting migrants.


In New York, he completed the DITALS training to certify his skills to teach Italian as a
foreign language. In Rome, he served as an ISA tutor, providing linguistic and logistical support to American university students.


After relocating to Sydney, he managed hospitality venues while launching his private
Italian teaching practice. He expanded his teaching career in Australia to local language institutes, instructing students of diverse backgrounds.


Extensive travel across Europe, North America, and Asia has deepened his intercultural
sensitivity, allowing him to bring a flexible, innovative approach to every lesson.
