Alexandra was born in Italy and attended high school and university in Florence. She first studied Philosophy at the University of Florence and then she graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Educational Sciences. She worked as a teacher in Italy until moving to Sydney in 2009.

Alexandra received a TESOL Certificate in Teaching Languages at the University of NSW. Since then, she has enjoyed teaching Italian to adults and children through various community colleges, Italian language organisations and private high schools in Sydney.

Alexandra has also been providing private tuition in Italian language and culture, both face-to-face and online. She is known for her personalised approach to her classes. Alexandra is also a qualified yoga and meditation teacher.
