Bio

Anna was born in Udine, a small town in the fascinating Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, in northern Italy, popular for its mountain scenery and wines.

She became passionate about the English language in her high school years, particularly after taking part in two study holidays in the UK. She graduated in Foreign Languages and Literatures in 2019 from the University of Udine, completing her first year of studies at Troy University, in Alabama. She later obtained her Master’s Degree in Modern Languages for International Communication and Cooperation from the University of Padua, in 2023, with the main courses being English and French Specialized Translation.

Regarding her teaching experience, her interest in English and French led her to give private language lessons to university students during her first university years. While studying towards her Master’s Degree, instead, she took part in a voluntary project to teach Italian to foreign pupils in Padua, and she taught English and French courses for adults as part of her university internship.

All these teaching experiences exposed her to different backgrounds and language levels, leading her to understand the importance of tailoring each lesson to the learner’s needs.
Following her passion for English, Anna has recently decided to move to Australia. She currently lives in Sydney. Besides her interest in translation and language teaching, she loves reading, travelling and her main hobby is horse riding.
