Bio

Elena was born and raised in San Benedetto Del Tronto, a beatiful seaside town in Marche region. From a young age, she developed a deep passion for Latin and Italian, fascinated by their evolution over time. This interest led her to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Arts and Humanities and a Master’s degree in Modern Philology at the University of L’Aquila.
Before moving to Sydney in 2022,she dedicated much of her academic career to researching about Margherita Costa, a forgotten Italian Baroque writer across several libraries around Tuscany where she had the chance to explore Costa’s poetry in depth. Besides, she worked as a Librarian.

Since relocating to Australia, she has been a full time Italian teacher, working both with children and adults of any learning level. She also worked as an Italian language assistant at a public girls’ high school in Sydney Inner West. Addionally, she tutors students preparing for CELI exam.

She believes that learning Italian should be both effective and enjoyable and she strives to create a welcoming and dynamic environment where students feel confident in their progress. Whether they are beginners or looking to refine their skills, she is committed to supporting and inspiring them every step of the way.
