Can I join the Society?
Membership is open to all and brings a host of extra benefits. You must join
the Society to partake in our language and cultural courses and enjoy the
discounts, special offers and invitations we provide.

Annual membership is just $10 for language students and $30 for full
Dante Alighieri members.

Membership entitles you to:
  • 10% discount at Abbey's bookshop (York Street, Sydney CBD)
  • Free access to the comprehensive Dante library of Italian literature
  • Special invitations to our cultural events

The Society will award a scholarship in Italy to at least 2 students enrolled in
its courses (conditions apply).

How much are the language and cultural courses?
Prices are available on request. Most courses are held over 1 nine-week term
at an average cost of $250 (incl. GST).

The following range of discounts is available:
  • 'Early bird special': a discount of 5% applies for payments received
     at least two weeks before the start of your course
  • A 5% discount applies to enrolments of 2 terms
  • A 10% discount applies to enrolments of 3 terms or more

Can I have private tuition?
Members are entitled to private tuition at $55 an hour and home tutoring is
available. A 5% discount applies for a payment of 10 lessons in advance.
