Carlo Cammarata was
born in Como on February 1st 1984. He started teaching Italian in 2008 at university, on occasion of the international students exchange programs.
Carlo first came to Australia in 2006, fell in love with this marvelous country, and decided to come back two years later in order
to write his thesis on the Aboriginal Native Title. During these months, he travelled across Australia and conducted his survey interviewing many Aboriginal Elders.
After obtaining his masters degree in law with merit in Italy at the University of Insubria, Como, Carlo
decided to go on a trip around the world. During this time, he worked at the Italian Stock Exchange, participated in some volunteering projects and studied French and Spanish.
Since August 2010, Carlo lives in Manly close to his sister Jessica. He has started once again teaching Italian.
Teaching Italian proved to be more than a job, it actually became a passion, a means through which he can convey his love for
his own culture. As a result, most of the times, his lessons go beyond the simple tasks, as he loves to provide students with many tips about travels in Italy or Italian literature and food.
Carlo teaches to students of different levels and has experience in preparing students for IB and CILS exams.
