- 'HSC Intensive'

- Free Conversation Hour on Wednesday
Every Wednesday during the term we offer all enrolled Dante students a free conversation class. Please see our class timetable for details.
- "Italian Theatre from the Middle-Age to Our Days" (in English) 
In October 2010 La Dante launches a new
Italian drama course which will present some of the focal points in the history of Italian theatre.
From the life of strolling performers and Machiavelli's influence on the European stage to the traditions of
Commedia dell'Arte and Italian regional theatre in the 19th and 20tth
century, the course created by actress and stage director Bianca Bonino will consist of the presentation and discussion of the topics and dramatic reading of excerpts in Italian. Please refer to the course description for more details.

- 'Holiday Italian' Intensive Course
Our concise 'Holiday Intensive' is an ideal first step for those considering a trip
to Italy and covers all you need to know to enjoy your stay. From booking
'un albergo' through ordering your favourite 'piatto' to finding your way around
the local tourist attractions, 'Holiday Intensive' will boost your confidence and
help you feel 'a casa in Italia'.
- Premium courses in Siena and Perugia, Italy
The Dante Alighieri of Siena is offering free language courses for the two most
successful Dante students of 2007. This is your chance to win an exciting
trip to Italy to study Italian! We also have an additional one-month scholarship
from l'Universita' per Stranieri di Perugia which includes 600 euro to cover travel

- 'Italian on Saturday'
We offer two Saturday courses:
• Beginners 1/Travellers
- an intensive course for beginners aimed at developing linguistic foundations for the traveller;
• Beginners 2/Travellers - a follow on from the
Beginner 1 course, it expands previously acquired language skills and reinforces
basic languistic structures
- 'Italian for Business'
This course is specifically designed to ensure a sound foundation in business
Italian. It provides business people with the skills they require to understand
spoken and written Italian in meetings, on the phone and in commercial
correspondence. In addition, we offer corporate training packages
devised in consultation with your company, training your staff at your premises
for maximum cost effectiveness.
- 'Italian for High School'
Give your child that little bit extra! La Dante now offers classes for year 9 to
11 students. With expert tuition by tertiary qualified Italian teachers, this
course is specifically designed to boost your children's performance in their
language studies at school.
- Comprehensive Italian language course
Whatever their current level of accomplishment, students of Italian will find
the appropriate course in our seven-tier academic programme to further
improve their language skills. Each course consists of 9 two-hour classes,
arranged on a convenient daytime or evening schedule, with free weekly
conversation groups held each Thursday from 5pm to 6pm.
Accredited certificates are awarded at the end of each level achieved
(Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced).
• Beginners 1: Total beginners acquire a basic knowledge of Italian vocabulary
and culture.
• Beginners 2: Foundation language skills are developed by combining
grammar with speaking, listening, reading and writing.
• Beginners 3: Students explore the past tense, express likes and dislikes and discuss everyday situations.
